Yusi, originally from Xi’ an, China, joined Vida Private Wealth in 2019 as a Financial Analyst. In her current capacity, Yusi manages a variety of business activities including product Due Diligence, the development of corporate infrastructure, financial analysis, and client interactions. Yusi also manages our analytics platforms and is part of our investment research team.
Prior to joining Vida, she interned with Ernst & Young as an auditor in 2016 and received a full-time employment offer immediately after the internship. In addition, she also interned in the Bond Underwriting department with one of the largest financial institutions in Asia, China Securities Co. LTD, and the City of Montebello Finance Department.
Yusi earned her bachelor degree in Economics and Finance with the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China. She also has a strong passion for economics and finance research and has published the policy research report “The analysis of the National Equities Exchange and Quotation in China.” Yusi attended Harvard University in Cambridge, MA as a visiting researcher with the Department of Economics, Policy and Institutional Research.
After completing her research work at Harvard University, she moved to California where she then earned her Master’s in Mathematical Finance at University of Southern California to strengthen her quantitative skill. Her passion for finance led her to pursue an attain a Graduate Certificate in Quantitative Methods in Finance with Stanford University, CA.
Yusi is a member of AIESEC, the world largest student non-profit student organization. She traveled to Kazakhstan as a global aid and volunteered in the IAAF World Athletic Championships. In her free time, Yusi loves music, playing the piano, dance, movies, and traveling.
